A Conference held in Jeddah, 8- 9 February will review the "promoting the institution of marriage and the family values" policies and strategies of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in preserving the institution of marriage and family values.
The conference, held with participation of 56 Islamic state, organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development in collaboration with the Human Rights Commission, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation(OIC), will negotiate the challenges facing the Marriage and Family Foundation, and propose sustainable solutions to address these challenges at all levels.
It is expected from the conference work out for policies and plans of a joint cooperation between the Member States of (OIC), to maintain the values of marriage and the family institution in the Islamic world.
The conference considered as a first conference on Ministerial level negotiate strengthening marriage and the institution of the family values, and the preservation of Islamic values in the members of the OIC countries, in the framework of the Islamic values.
Empowerment of Marriage and Family Foundation, and preservation of its values, and the role of the family in achieving the goals of sustainable development, and facing violence against women and the family in the light of Islamic principles, are the main topics of the conference.
