Truce and Prisoner Exchange

On the 66th day of the Israeli war on Gaza, there were talks about truce proposals and a new prisoner exchange deal. The Palestinian resistance and the Israeli forces continued to fight, with Israel admitting to losing 7 soldiers. The Israeli army also carried out more attacks on civilians, resulting in 208 deaths and bringing the total number of casualties to 18,000.

Truce and Exchange Deal

There are new moves to reach a truce and a prisoner exchange deal. Israeli sources say that conditions are favorable for such agreements. The Israeli Defense Minister mentioned the possibility of new truces if the Israeli army puts more pressure. However, he made it clear that Hamas will not have a role in the future of Gaza.

International Calls for Truce

Four European Union countries called for an immediate truce in Gaza to stop what they called a massacre. They believe that a humanitarian truce would lead to a cessation of hostilities. The US National Security Council also emphasized the importance of reaching a new truce to release detainees in Gaza.

Israeli Resistance and Losses

The Palestinian resistance and the Israeli army are engaged in intense battles in different areas of Gaza. The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, have been targeting Israeli forces. The Israeli army, on the other hand, has been conducting airstrikes and ground operations.

Israeli Army's Losses

The Israeli army suffered losses, with 7 soldiers and officers killed in the past 24 hours. The total number of Israeli army deaths since the start of the ground operation is 434. The army also admitted that 5 of these deaths were due to a mine ambush set up by the Al-Qassam Brigades.

New Massacres and Epidemics

The Israeli army continued to commit new massacres against civilians. In the past hours, 208 people were killed, bringing the total number of martyrs to 18,205. The Ministry of Health in Gaza expressed concern about the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases among the hundreds of thousands of displaced people in shelters.

Targeting the Family of a Journalist

The Israeli army targeted the home of Al Jazeera journalist Anas Al-Sharif in Jabalia, resulting in the death of his father. Despite this tragedy, Anas Al-Sharif vowed to continue reporting on the suffering of Palestinians and exposing the crimes committed by the occupation forces.

The Latest Updates on the Israeli War on Gaza

Threats Against Journalist Anas Al-Sharif

About two weeks ago, journalist Anas Al-Sharif, who works for Al Jazeera in northern Gaza, received threats from Israeli officers. They wanted him to stop covering the Israeli war on Gaza. But Al-Sharif refused to back down and continued his press coverage as usual. Al Jazeera Media Network condemned the targeting of Al-Sharif's home, which led to the death of his father. They will take legal action against those responsible for this crime.

Escalation in the West Bank

In the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces executed a young man named Rami Al-Aboushi in the Al-Faraa camp in Tubas. They shot him multiple times, causing him to fall wounded. But then they shot him again, leading to his immediate death. The occupation forces also raided several cities and towns, including Ramallah, Beitunia, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jenin. They arrested Palestinians and caused unrest in these areas.

South Lebanon Front

Hezbollah, a Lebanese political and military organization, attacked four Israeli military sites off the Lebanese border. They targeted Israeli soldiers and barracks. In response, Israel bombed several towns in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese Civil Defense reported the death of an 80-year-old citizen due to Israeli bombing.

Use of White Phosphorus

The Washington Post revealed that Israel used American white phosphorus shells in a bombing of southern Lebanon. This resulted in the injury of at least 9 civilians. The United States expressed concern about these reports. However, the Pentagon cannot confirm if these missiles are American-made.

Total Strike

A comprehensive strike took place in several Arab and Islamic cities around the world to denounce the Israeli war on Gaza. Activists on social media platforms called for this strike to pressure governments into taking action to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression.
