On October 8, 2024, when the Zionists celebrate the so-called biblical "Days of Repentance", as part of the celebrations of the new Jewish year that last from October 4 to 25, a Jewish settler wearing priestly clothes stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard and performed the entire "Priest's Blessings Prayer".
He was joined - as part of the daily storming of the mosque during the Jewish holiday celebrations - by rabbis who performed the ritual of prostration (epic prostration) over the eastern courtyard of "Al-Aqsa" under the auspices of the occupation police, to consecrate the land of the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a "temple".
This dangerous development has prompted researchers in Al-Aqsa Mosque affairs to warn that it may be part of a Zionist plan to establish that this eastern area of the mosque is a Jewish temple, in preparation for building the alleged "temple", and imposing the spatial division of "Al-Aqsa"; Any place for Jews and another for Muslims, after they imposed the temporal division by allowing Zionists to enter and pray on certain days.
Religious victory after military failure
The danger of what is happening is that the religious Zionist movement currently ruling "Israel" and directly represented by the Ministers of Security Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Bezalel Smotrich, seeks to exploit the current wars with the Palestinians, Lebanese, Iran and Yemen to impose a fait accompli in Al-Aqsa Mosque similar to what they did in the Ibrahimi Mosque, which they divided 63% for Jews and 37% for Muslims!
They want to try to snatch a religious victory and impose the Jewish identity on the Al-Aqsa Mosque after the military failure, exploiting the Zionist superiority, and the confusion and silence of the Arabs and Muslims on their massacres.
And to perform the ritual of collective prostration (epic prostration) to express their return to the place of the alleged "temple".
During their current holidays that coincide with October, the settlers and Zionist movements began to intensify their storming of the mosque and praying in its courtyard, violating an old agreement signed in 1976 by Moshe Dayan with the imams of Al-Aqsa that prohibits Jews from praying inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque and allows them to visit only.
Since the Battle of “Sword of Jerusalem” in 2021 and Hamas’s bombing of Jerusalem for the first time in solidarity with Muslims against the settlers’ and occupation’s attacks on worshipers and the people of Jerusalem, the Zionists began to introduce new tools to the Al-Aqsa courtyard to impose this fait accompli.
This included blowing the biblical trumpet, which they did (for the fourth year in a row) on October 3, 2024, entering the courtyard of the mosque in the clothes of the priests of the Temple (responsible for slaughtering the sacrifices) and performing loud prayers, and the epic prostration that only takes place inside the temples and the Temple, coinciding with the celebrations of the beginning of the new Jewish Hebrew year.
This is a radical change in the way the raids are carried out, which now include performing prayers and religious rituals in full on a daily basis, after previously only performing oral prayers, according to Dr. Abdullah Marouf, Professor of Jerusalem Studies and former Media and Public Relations Officer at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
But what is new this year is the attempt by the Temple groups and religious Zionism to make the war an opportunity to decide control and impose sovereignty over Al-Aqsa, exploiting the silence of Arabs and Muslims. This is supported by the intentions announced by the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, to create a new Middle East with a Jewish identity, as he spoke within two weeks about “pursuing the enemies and eliminating them as written in the Torah,” and that “the time of the Messiah has come to establish the Kingdom of the Jews,” and he is telling the “Israelis” that they will be victorious, and that he will fulfill “Isaiah’s prophecy,” in destroying the Palestinians and Arabs and describing them as “sons of darkness.”
The religious Zionism (Hardali Salvationism) movement, to which Ben Gvir and Smortish belong, adopts the most extreme interpretation of the idea of Jewish salvation and the coming of the awaited savior, who will make the Jews leaders of the world, and build the temple on the ruins of “Al-Aqsa”.
These movements of revolutionary, corrective or secular religious Zionists see the building of the “Third Temple” as the key to solving all the problems and misfortunes of the Jews, especially religious and spiritual ones, and they see themselves as “God’s tool to bring the coming of the savior closer”.
Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib described these Zionist attacks on “Al-Aqsa” as an attempt to exploit the opportunity in the current circumstances to establish facts on the ground of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and said: The blessed “Al-Aqsa” will remain the solid rock on which the centuries of the occupiers, colonizers, arrogant and conceited have been shattered and broken.
Referring to Netanyahu's plans and his extremist ministers, he said: Whoever thinks that in light of the euphoria and riot he is experiencing, he will make Al-Aqsa Mosque his golden opportunity to impose a new reality, is delusional; because the solidity of Al-Aqsa Mosque shatters the centuries of rioters and dispels their illusions and dreams.
Is Al-Aqsa in existential danger?
According to the assessment of the position of the International Jerusalem Foundation regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque as an existential battle, the occupation is trying after the "Al-Aqsa Flood" to respond - religiously - by re-crystallizing a strategy to decide on "Al-Aqsa", through religious substitution and an attempt to establish the alleged "temple"; which makes the battle of "Al-Aqsa" an existential battle.
The assessment prepared by researcher in Al-Aqsa affairs, Ziad Abhais, suggested that this season will be the fiercest season of aggression against "Al-Aqsa", and that the Zionist leadership will deal with the anniversary of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" and address the October 7 complex by violating "Al-Aqsa" and threatening it existentially through attempts to liquidate its identity and Judaize it; Therefore, he called for the necessity of pressuring the official Arab regime to obtain any positive position and stop the deterioration of its position ceilings.
The same thing is warned by Dr. Abdullah Marouf, Professor of Jerusalem Studies, stressing that the mosque is no longer only threatened in the usual season of attacks, but is now facing an existential danger that threatens its entire entity.
He explained, in an analysis published on the Al Jazeera website on September 19, 2024, that the far-right occupation government is trying to exploit the anniversary of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” to pass political and religious messages that deepen the danger of Judaization, and the Jewish Heritage Ministry seeks to falsify the history of occupied Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque and promote Jewish myths, to consolidate the occupation’s narrative about the area of the mosque and the history of Jerusalem as a whole.
On August 27, 2024, the ministry issued an official decision, the first of its kind, to finance the settlers’ storming of “Al-Aqsa” and promote Jewish heritage in a historical form devoid of Palestinian narratives, i.e. Judaizing these narratives.
On August 29, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz confirmed that the occupation's plan to build the "Temple" and demolish Al-Aqsa Mosque is based on an extremist Jewish religious doctrine and the collusion of the extremist American evangelical movement with them. It confirmed that the extreme Zionist messianic right, which is currently in power in Netanyahu's government, is very serious about rebuilding the "Temple".

As Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" enters its 374th day, the occupation forces continue to carry out airstrikes and intensive artillery shelling on the Gaza Strip, causing horrific massacres against civilians.
10 martyrs in the shelling of an aid center in Jabalia
10 Palestinians were martyred and dozens of others were injured on Monday in an artillery shelling by the occupation that targeted a gathering of civilians in front of the food aid distribution center in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, according to the "Anadolu" agency.
The agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the occupation army shelled a gathering of civilians, most of whom were women and the elderly, while they were heading to get flour from a distribution center affiliated with the UNRWA after food and water supplies ran out as a result of the ongoing Israeli siege for ten days.
The witnesses added that the artillery shells destroyed the center, which resulted in bodies scattered around it.
Burning of the Displaced People's Tents in the "Al-Aqsa Martyrs" Hospital
Powerful explosions rocked the "Al-Aqsa Martyrs" Hospital in Deir al-Balah on Sunday evening, as a Zionist fighter targeted the displaced people's tents in the hospital yard, which led to the outbreak of flames.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health condemned this bombing, describing it as a "new holocaust" against civilians, noting that 4 Palestinians were killed and more than 40 others were injured, most of them children and women.
Al-Rishq: Do not get used to the scene and do not get used to the massacres against your brothers in Gaza
In this context, Izzat Al-Rishq, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas", said: The occupation army is carrying out a "new Nazi holocaust" against civilians and is targeting the displaced people's tents in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah with American weapons, support and a cover of international impotence.
Al-Rishq added in statements published on the official website of the Hamas movement: The occupying state is burning children, women and elderly people in tents and shelters. Is there a crime more deserving of international action than this genocide that has been ongoing for a year?!
He continued: “We know for sure that the international community will not move, and that the Zionist entity is safe from punishment, but we will not tire of the call of our nation’s sons. This is the time to escalate the action, each with what he can.”
The movement’s leader concluded with a message addressed to the Arab and Islamic nations: “The important thing is that you do not get used to the scene, and do not get used to the massacres against your brothers, and the enemy should not think that the people of Gaza have no support!”
“Al-Qassam” Publishes Scenes of a New Ambush in Jabalia
On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, published scenes of a well-planned ambush operation east of Jabalia, which resulted in deaths and injuries among the occupation soldiers.
The scenes showed the stages of preparing the ambush, and documenting the moment of carrying out the operation and targeting the Zionist forces.
In the ambush video, a Qassam fighter sent a message to the Zionist Defense Minister Galant. They said in the message: “The despicable Galant, I remind you of your words that you said at the beginning of the battle. I see a defeat for Hamas. God willing, by God, we see a defeat for Israel, and the world will witness not your defeat, but your demise, for this land is not big enough for two, it is only big enough for the Palestinian people, God willing. We will trample on your necks, either us or you, and the days will tell.”
The European Union condemns the occupation’s attack on “UNIFIL” in Lebanon
On the international level, the European Union condemned the Zionist entity’s attacks on the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and called on the member states of the Union to suspend the free trade agreement with the occupation.
The European Union’s foreign ministers expressed, in a joint statement, their “deep concern” over the “Israeli” army’s attacks on UNIFIL, calling on “Israel” to provide an “urgent clarification” and a comprehensive investigation in this regard, according to what was reported by the “Anadolu” agency.
Calls to suspend free trade agreement with occupation
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called on Monday on the member states of the European Union to respond to the request of Spain and Ireland to suspend the “free trade” agreement between the bloc and the “Israeli” occupation, due to its aggression on Gaza and Lebanon.
A few days ago, Sanchez called on the international community to stop selling weapons to the “Israeli” occupation, denouncing the “Israeli” attacks on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon “UNIFIL”, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
As Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" enters its 373rd day, the occupation forces continue to carry out airstrikes and intensive artillery shelling on the Gaza Strip, causing horrific massacres against civilians.
300 martyrs in 9 days of genocide in northern Gaza
The occupation forces continue their intensive shelling and targeting operations in the northern Gaza Strip for the ninth consecutive day, which led to the martyrdom of more than 300 citizens, while the bodies of dozens remain under the rubble and in the destroyed streets, in addition to hundreds of wounded who need urgent medical treatment.
The government media office in Gaza confirmed in a statement today that the occupation forces are waging a war of extermination and genocide in the northern Gaza Strip, where they are obstructing the work of medical crews and civil defense organizations in recovering the bodies.
The statement indicated that the occupation army seeks to completely eliminate the health system, targeting hospitals and infrastructure.
Hamas calls on the international community to stop the massacres in northern Gaza
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, issued an urgent appeal to the international community and Arab and Islamic governments, calling for the use of all pressure tools to stop the Zionist massacres in northern Gaza.
The movement stressed in its statement, today, Sunday, that the continuation of the occupation's aggression on the north, and the tightening of the siege on it and its isolation by force, is a "described genocide" in which the occupation government evades any international obligations, in light of clear American support.
Hamas: The fate Israeli POWs is unknown
The Hamas movement warned the families of the Zionist enemy's prisoners in Gaza, indicating that the fate of their sons has become "unknown", a year after the promises made by their Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to bring them back "alive through a war of extermination".
In a video clip published by the movement, it displayed pictures and names of six Zionist prisoners who were killed and whose bodies were found by the occupation army in a tunnel in the city of Rafah.
The occupation army accused Hamas of killing them, which the movement denied, confirming that they were killed by the occupation army’s fire.
Netanyahu attacks 130 soldiers demanding a deal with Hamas
The head of the Zionist occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, and a number of his government ministers criticized 130 Zionist soldiers who announced their refusal to serve in the military unless the government sought to conclude a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.
The newspaper “Haaretz” reported that Netanyahu called during a security meeting to deal firmly with this refusal, considering it a “loss of national conscience.”
For its part, Transportation Minister Miri Regev called for the soldiers to be tried and described it as “rebellion,” while Defense Minister Yoav Galant denied the accuracy of the circulated numbers about the disobedience, according to what was reported by “Al Jazeera.”

The occupation army committed a horrific massacre in Jabalia al-Balad, which claimed the lives of at least 22 martyrs and dozens of injuries, while health centers stopped working and there are fears of a complete shutdown of Kamal Adwan Hospital.
At least 22 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes, more than 90 were injured, and dozens were reported missing as a result of Israeli bombing that targeted an entire residential block in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that the bombing targeted 4 houses, all of which were inhabited by residents, and among the martyrs were children, women, and the elderly, while there were more than 90 injured and 14 missing people still under the rubble. At the same time, local sources confirmed hearing huge explosions shaking the northern Gaza Strip, caused by "Israeli" bombings of buildings in the Saftawi and Al-Tawam areas northwest of Jabalia.
Siege amidst the bombing
Civil Defense official Mahmoud Basal said in a press statement: The occupation continues to besiege Jabalia camp and Jabalia town for the seventh consecutive day, where residents are living without food, water and the necessities of life.
He confirmed that the Civil Defense crews are also besieged, including medical crews and relief crews, as the occupation has not allowed them to obtain fuel or medical supplies.
He added: The occupation is besieging more than 200,000 Palestinians trapped in that area, warning that they are threatened with death as a result of the bombing or hunger and thirst.
Basal called on international institutions and organizations to do their humanitarian duty in order to protect the remaining Palestinians there who are still alive.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the "Israeli" occupation army committed five massacres in the Gaza Strip. They resulted in the martyrdom of 49 Palestinians and the injury of 219 others within 24 hours, noting that this number of victims are those who arrived at hospitals while there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads that ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach. Thus, the number of victims of the ongoing "Israeli" war of extermination on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has risen to 42,175 martyrs and 98,336 wounded, according to documentation by the Ministry of Health. The occupation army threatened, in new orders, the Palestinian citizens in an area it called "D5". The area includes Jabalia al-Nazla in the northern Gaza Strip, reaching the northern outskirts of Gaza City, which are the Saftawi areas, and parts of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, with immediate evacuation via Salah al-Din Street towards what it calls the "humanitarian area" in the southern Gaza Strip.

A war crime with American cover
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the Rufaida School massacre, describing it as a war crime committed by the occupation army with American cover.
Hamas confirmed, in a press statement today, Thursday, that this brutal massacre, which was committed at a time when the fascist occupation army is closing in on the northern Gaza Strip and is committing abuse and killing there. This massacre is an extension of the crimes of the Zionist occupation against our Palestinian people, over a whole year of genocide, during which the terrorist occupation army carried out the most heinous operations of deliberately targeting defenseless civilians, in residential neighborhoods, homes, shelters and displacement centers, with the support of the American administration, a partner in this genocide.
The movement added: Our Palestinian people ask: Where is the international community and the United Nations, and all its institutions, headed by the UN Security Council?! And where are the Arab and Islamic countries from taking immediate measures to stop the unprecedented violations of international and humanitarian laws by the fascist occupation?!
It stressed that the continuation of the massacres in full view of the world, without moving a finger, represents suspicious behavior that portends the complete collapse of the international system with all its foundations, laws and values.
Continued siege of Jabalia camp for the fifth day
The occupation continues its siege of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip for the fifth consecutive day; which has caused a process of "genocide and ethnic cleansing" against the camp's residents. The siege has led to the destruction of homes, the killing of civilians and their forced displacement, and despite the intense pressure, citizens refuse to move to the southern Gaza Strip.
This comes in light of the occupation's attempts to put the health system in the northern Gaza Strip out of service, as it asked the "Kamal Adwan", "Indonesian" and "Al-Awda" hospitals to evacuate within 24 hours, which threatens the lives of thousands of patients.
"Kamal Adwan" Hospital appeals to stop the evacuation
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, appealed to the international community to stop the occupation's decision to evacuate the hospital of patients and medical staff.
This came in a video clip recorded from the intensive care unit, where he confirmed that the humanitarian situation is constantly deteriorating due to the siege and aggression, according to what was reported by the "Anadolu" agency.

Immediately upon the force's arrival at the site, a "Shawaz" bomb was detonated in the truck loaded with soldiers, a "Thunder" bomb was detonated in a "Hummer" jeep, and another jeep was targeted with a "Tandem" shell. After that, our fighters advanced towards the ambush area and finished off the remaining soldiers from zero distance with light weapons. They targeted a number of soldiers who fled the area towards a house with an anti-personnel bomb, killing and wounding them.
The battalions also announced that two tanks were targeted during the operation, in addition to targeting a Zionist reconnaissance patrol east of Khan Yunis with a drone.

Kuwait eyes deeper collaboration with Google Cloud
Kuwait plans to deepen its partnership with Google Cloud as part of efforts to give impetus to a national digital drive in line with its strategic 2035 vision, Communication Minister Omar Al-Omar said on Tuesday.
Luring more foreign investment would be a by-product of a full-fledged digital transformation, the minister told a one-of-a kind gathering entitled, “Cloud Day,” an initiative organized by Google, with whom Kuwait has already established a joint training program for the development of “national skills” pertinent to AI and cybersecurity technologies, added the minister.
A national training program is already up and running in a bid to further hone the digital skills of young people and state body employees alike, giving them the opportunity to keep abreast of the most cutting-edge digital technologies as they foray into the job market, the minister added.
Underlining the significance of such endeavors, the Kuwaiti minister expected a “new generation” of tech leaders to lead the digital transformation in Kuwait, ensuring that the nation is firmly placed on a path towards a “brighter and more prosperous” future, he emphasized.
Addressing the gathering, Country Manager for Google Cloud in Kuwait Shaymaa Alterkait said that the tech giant is “dedicated to fostering a thriving digital ecosystem,” allowing businesses, government entities and individuals to harness the “power of the cloud and AI” to drive economic gr owth. Google Cloud’s expanding network of 40 regions, 121 zones and 187 network edge locations represent the “backbone” of the global infrastructure, she highlighted, saying that Google has built a “ dedicated and uniquely skilled” team that will contribute towards Kuwait’s digital transformation. — KUNA
Kuwait mobilizes extensive support for Palestinians through KRCS initiatives
Zionist aggression ‘pushing entire region to regional war’
The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) emphasized on Monday that Kuwait, through its governmental and non-governmental institutions, has made every possible effort to support Palestinians in terms of relief, development, and health initiatives. KRCS also reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause remains at the forefront of its humanitarian agenda. In a statement to KUNA, KRCS Chairman Ambassador Khaled Al-Maghames highlighted Kuwait’s continued support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, in line with the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and emphasized the society’s backing of humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of Palestinians.
He noted that the brutal occupation has caused significant damage in Gaza, causing the Palestinians to seek refuge in camps, and face severe shortage of food, water and medicine. He added that Kuwait has organized an airlift carrying essential aid, including medicine, medical supplies, ambulances, food, and tents, to meet the needs of the Palestinians. The KRCS has played a critical role by collecting donations through its website and working closely with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health to stand with the Palestinians and provide support to the affected.
Al-Maghames explained that the society has deployed a field team within Gaza to distribute urgent aid, including food, medicine, flour, and meals to displaced Palestinians in shelters, underscoring the humanitarian organization’s commitment. The society also successfully facilitated the entry of the first Kuwaiti team and a fully equipped field hospital into the Rafah area of Gaza to provide medical services to the Palestinian people and train Kuwaiti medical personnel, while also caring for orphans there. Al-Maghames further noted that the society has rehabilitated and equipped the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza and launched a clean drinking water project for the displaced in central and southern Gaza shelters.
Meanwhile, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi said on Monday that the Zionist aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, is pushing the entire region into “the abyss of a complete regional war.” This came in a press conference held by the Jordanian Minister after his meeting with Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati where he affirmed that his visit to Lebanon came under the directive of King Abdullah II of Jordan, as a solidarity stand with Lebanon in facing the occupation aggression.
Al-Safadi expressed Jordan’s readiness to provide assistance to Lebanon in the aftermath of this brutal aggression, which is a clear violation of international law and of Lebanon’s sovereignty, stressing that they will continue their efforts and coordinate with the international community to do so as quickly and immediately as possible. He added that they support Lebanon’s efforts to activate its national institutions and decision, starting with the election of a President, as it is an important step in strengthening Lebanon’s position on an international level, noting the catastrophe and dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the entire region and international peace.
He stressed the need to stop this aggression immediately, the necessity of restraining occupation’s aggression and applying international law fully, pointing to the existing UN Security Council Resolution No 1701, which would achieve security and stability. In response to a question, Al-Safadi stated that Jordan will not be a battlefield for anyone, and will not allow anyone to penetrate the Kingdom’s airspace and sovereignty, threatening the security of its citizens.
Arab countries’ position was clear from the start in rejecting Zionist aggression against Gaza, explained Al-Safadi, adding that they warned of its consequences and that it would only lead to a dangerous regional escalation. The world has failed in protecting the region’s peace and security, limit the occupation’s crimes and apply international law and the UN Charter, remarked Al-Safadi, noting that Zionist occupation is responsible for the aggression and escalation in the region, and any new escalation will inevitably push the region towards a regional war. — KUNA

Namaa Charity Sponsors More Than 172 University Students
Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, announced the sponsorship and support of 172 university students from Rohingya, Palestinians, Syrians and Somalis studying in Turkey.
In this regard, the Director of Relief Department at Namaa Charity, Khaled Mubarak Al Shamri, said: Sponsoring university students is a cornerstone in helping young people complete their education, especially in countries suffering from crises and wars, noting that sponsoring these students is not limited to providing financial support only, but is a tributary to sustainable development, as it gives them an opportunity to overcome economic and social challenges, and contributes to building an educated society capable of facing difficulties.
Al Shamri added that sponsoring university students represents a new hope in the lives of young people who face serious humanitarian challenges in their countries, noting that by providing educational and financial support, we contribute to enabling these students to achieve their dreams and contribute to their communities.
Al-Shammari explained that the students were selected according to the most need, as Yemen suffers from serious humanitarian crises, where the people are exposed to many challenges, including poverty and lack of education; therefore, sponsoring university students provides them with the opportunity to build a better future and achieve sustainable development in their homeland. The people of Gaza also live in different humanitarian conditions under the burden of war, which leads to difficult circumstances that hinder education, and by sponsoring students, we can support them in their academic career and enable them to participate in building their homeland.

The Israeli ambulance teams reported that the conditions of 5 of the injured ranged between critical and serious.
The occupation police stated that the stabbing operation took place in 3 different locations within the city.
According to the "Occupation Army Radio", the perpetrator of the operation is the Palestinian Ahmed Jabarin (36 years old), who has been residing in Umm al-Fahm in the occupied Palestinian territories since 1948, according to what was reported by the "Palestinian Information Center".

The occupation besieges northern Gaza
As the ground invasion of northern Gaza enters its fourth day, the occupying forces are escalating their ground and air operations, targeting civilians and infrastructure in an attempt to impose more control.
The occupation forces imposed a siege on the city of Jabalia and the towns of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, amidst intensive shelling and the demolition of homes.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the "Israeli" army is imposing a tight siege, and is shooting at anyone who moves; forcing citizens to be forcibly displaced towards the southern part of the Strip.
Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of UNRWA, indicated that more than 400,000 people are besieged in the northern part of the Strip, and the "Israeli" evacuation orders are pushing people to flee repeatedly, especially from Jabalia camp.
Obstructing the evacuation of patients from northern Gaza
A health ministry official in Gaza stated on Wednesday that the occupation army is obstructing the evacuation of patients through searches and arrests, despite its warning to evacuate hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip.
Maher Shamiya, Undersecretary of the Health Ministry in Gaza, explained that the security deterioration in the northern Gaza Strip, and the occupation’s breach of the understandings reached with international mediators regarding the evacuation of sick children from Kamal Adwan Hospital, are obstructing the evacuation operations.
He added to the Anatolia Agency that international organizations coordinated with the army to evacuate 5 children, but it stopped the ambulances and subjected them to lengthy inspections.
He pointed out that 37 patients are staying in Kamal Adwan Hospital, 7 of whom are in intensive care, in addition to about 30 patients in the Indonesian Hospital; which makes their transfer difficult.
Qualitative operations in Jabalia
Al-Qassam Brigades announced targeting a "Merkava" tank with a "Yassin 105" shell in the Al-Israa neighborhood west of Jabalia camp. The "Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades" also announced detonating a highly explosive device on a "Merkava" tank in the same area.
Operation al-Aqsa Flood occurred amid Türkiye’s normalization of relations with Israel and its intent to further develop economic cooperation, particularly in the energy sector, which initially influenced Türkiye’s position in the early days. However, as Israeli massacres unfolded, Ankara’s stance on the war on Gaza Strip (GS) evolved both in statements and actions, placing Türkiye in ongoing political conflict with Israel, and particularly with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
First: Determinants of the Turkish Position
The Turkish stance on Operation al-Aqsa Flood was shaped by several key factors, foremost among them:
Second: Aspects of Turkish Position Regarding Operation al-Aqsa Flood
The following aspects of Türkiye’s official stance toward Operation al-Aqsa Flood can be observed:
Third: Projections
In light of the stalemate in field and political developments related to GS in particular and the Palestinian territories in general, it is expected that Türkiye’s official position will remain consistent. This means maintaining a state of political and media engagement with Israel, fully adopting the Palestinian narrative—including the resistance narrative—and condemning the ongoing genocidal war.
It is expected that Türkiye’s efforts in the political and legal arenas to criminalize and hold Netanyahu and other Israeli officials involved in the genocide accountable will continue, especially following the killing of Turkish-American activist Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi in the West Bank, who was shot by Israeli soldiers. Ankara is unlikely to escalate further in the economic sphere, particularly regarding the ongoing transfer of Azerbaijani oil to Israel through its ports.
In addition to the developments in the field and political situation related to GS and the resistance, there are two possible factors that may lead to a change or modification of Türkiye’s position in the future. The first is the upcoming US elections and the potential return of Donald Trump to the Oval Office. The second possibility is a regional war involving several parties significant to Türkiye, which could be affected directly or indirectly, primarily Iran, Syria, Greece and Cyprus. This scenario makes it unlikely that Türkiye will remain an observer, especially given its suspicions and concerns about US and Western military buildups in Greece and Cyprus.
