Al Mujtama Magazine | Professor Dr. Umar Sulaiman Al-Ashqar (1940 – August 10, 2012) was a prominent Islamic scholar. He previously served as a professor in the Faculty of Sharia at the University of Jordan in Amman, and was one of the leading figures of the Islamic movement in Jordan.
