Zionist Tide Ended... Decline Began

Zionism: Forces of Ascent and Seeds of Collapse

Zionist Jews are currently commemorating the centennial of the Zionist movement’s rebirth in Basel, Switzerland, under the leadership of their Austrian “king,” Theodor Herzl. Herzl famously predicted that within fifty years of the 1897 Zionist Congress, a Jewish state would rise. And indeed, in May 1948, David Ben-Gurion stood in Tel Aviv and declared the birth of the so-called Hebrew state.

For centuries, Jews had recited the oath: “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill.” To them, Palestine was the Promised Land. Israel without Jerusalem is meaningless, and Jerusalem without the “Temple” is hollow. Now, at the close of the twentieth century, they prepare to demolish Al-Aqsa Mosque and erect their long-awaited Third Temple. What, then, enabled them to realize so many of their ambitions?

The Pillars of Zionist Success

Three primary factors propelled the Zionist movement toward its goals:

1.      Internal Will and Relentless Determination

Zionists clung fiercely to their Torah, their Talmud, and their language. They insisted on returning to Palestine, even when other territories were offered. They understood the cynical slogan: “A land without a people for a people without a land.” They knew full well that Palestine was inhabited. Yet they chose to erase its people through massacres and forced displacement.

They united Jews from Europe, Russia, and the East, blending Sephardim and Ashkenazim into a single colonial project. They failed at times — as with Sultan Abdul Hamid II, who rejected Herzl’s bribes — but succeeded elsewhere. Britain, under the influence of Chaim Weizmann and the Rothschilds, issued the infamous Balfour Declaration in 1917: a promise from those who had no right to those who had no claim.

During the British Mandate (1918–1948), Britain facilitated Zionist immigration, land acquisition, and military buildup, while violently suppressing Palestinian resistance. Then came the United States, from Truman onward, pouring over $80 billion into the Zionist entity — with $5 billion annually in aid, weapons, technology, and diplomatic protection. The global order was bent to serve Zionist interests.

2.     Strategic Alliances with Power Brokers

Zionists knew how to court influence. They failed with the Ottomans but triumphed with the British and Americans. They embedded themselves in the corridors of power, securing promises, funding, and military support. Their success was not merely ideological — it was tactical, calculated, and ruthless.

3.     The Weakening of the Muslim World

The collapse of the Ottoman Caliphate in 1924 and the carving up of the region under the Sykes-Picot Agreement (1916) left the Muslim world fractured. Arab leaders sided with the British against their own brethren, fueling sectarian nationalism and undermining Islamic unity.

In 1948, Arab participation in the war was symbolic at best. Palestinians — the people who knew the land — were sidelined. The martyrdom of Hassan al-Banna and the sabotage of his jihadist project marked a turning point. His movement was crushed, denied power, and smeared as “reactionary,” “terrorist,” and “backward” — a smear campaign that continues to this day.

Will Zionism Continue to Prevail?

The question looms: Will Zionism continue its string of victories while the Arab and Muslim world sinks deeper into defeat?

The answer is a resounding no.

Signs of decay are already visible within Jewish society. The once-dominant spirit of sacrifice and resolve is giving way to consumerism, indulgence, and fear. Internal divisions — between Eastern and Western Jews, between secular and religious factions — are widening. Security is fragile. Anxiety reigns.

As for the Muslim world, revival is inevitable — but only when the people reclaim their agency in peace and war. Today, most Arab and Muslim nations are ruled by autocrats who ignite wars at whim, in the wrong place, at the wrong time, without consultation or democratic legitimacy. These rulers grant and deny rights arbitrarily, suffocating their own populations.

Islam Will Be the Path to Salvation

We firmly believe that our Ummah will choose Islam as its savior — the force that unites, mobilizes, and empowers it to confront Zionism and its allies. The battle is fierce and global. Secular regimes, military juntas, and cultural colonization all conspire to block Islam’s path. But the final outcome belongs to the righteous:

{And they say, ‘When will that be?’ Say, ‘Perhaps it is near.} (Al-Isra: 51)

The road ahead is steep, but the tide will turn. The Zionist project, built on blood and betrayal, cannot withstand the awakening of a united, principled, and determined Muslim world.
