Why the World Stands Helpless in the Gaza War
The Holy
Quran narrates the story of two brothers, each of whom offered a sacrifice to
the Lord of the Worlds. It was accepted from one but not from the other. The
one whose sacrifice was rejected threatened the one whose offering was
accepted, saying, 'I will surely kill you!' The other replied, 'Allah only
accepts from those who are mindful of Him (the righteous).' A dispute then
ensued between the two brothers, culminating in the wretched brother murdering
his sibling. Following this, Allah Almighty sent a crow to scratch the ground,
showing him how to bury his brother's corpse. Thus, the brother learned how to
conceal his brother's body.
These
verses are followed by the words of Allah Almighty: 'Because of that, We
decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul—unless for a soul
or for corruption [done] in the land—it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.
And whoever saves one—it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our
messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs, yet indeed many of
them, after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.' Transgression here
means exceeding the acceptable and reasonable limits.
Zionist
Transgression and the Supremacist Mindset: Evidence of Genocide in Gaza
Transgression
means exceeding boundaries. Driven by a false sense of supremacy—the belief
that they alone are God's chosen people, His children, and His beloved, while
other humans, whom they refer to as the masses or 'Goyim', are merely animals
created in human form to be fit to serve the Jews—they recognize no limits.
Rooted in this false supremacy, we witness rampant transgressions in the
ongoing war waged these days against our people in the Gaza Strip.
Within
just three months, the number of martyrs has surpassed 22,300, and the wounded
exceeded 57,200, the vast majority of whom are women and children. Furthermore,
more than 7,000 martyrs remain buried under the rubble of buildings leveled to
the ground by airstrikes, naval bombardment, and artillery. The number of
forcefully abducted prisoners has reached over 5,000, in addition to the
complete and comprehensive destruction of over 80% of the infrastructure in
this Strip, which is home to more than two and a quarter million human beings.
Qur'anic
Condemnation and Modern War Crimes: The Reality of Israeli Transgression
The
reason for this lies in the very transgression (Al-Israf) with which they were
described in the Holy Quran: 'Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of
Israel that whoever kills a soul—unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in
the land—it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one—it is
as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to
them with clear proofs, yet indeed many of them, after that, throughout the
land, were transgressors.'
This
transgression constitutes a war crime punishable under international law.
Willful killing, ill-treatment, or the deportation of people—especially
prisoners of war—are all prohibited by international law. I do not only say
that our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, forbids it, but human laws prohibit it
as well. This includes the killing of hostages or the plundering of public or
private property, reaching the horrific extent of harvesting organs from the
bodies of martyrs, such as bones, skin, hearts, and livers, while leaving the
rest to decompose under the rubble.
The
destruction of public and private facilities, torture, inhumane treatment, and
the deprivation of basic human rights—such as blocking humanitarian corridors
and preventing the entry of food, water, fuel, medical supplies, and
medicine—are all entirely antithetical to the most fundamental human values and
represent a flagrant violation of all laws and customs of war.
Systematic
Genocide and Global Silence:
This
includes the targeting and torture of civilians, the abuse or execution of
prisoners of war, and the targeting of citizens even outside the borders of the
Gaza Strip. Among the most heinous crimes against humanity is the widespread or
systematic attack directed against any civilian population. This is evident in
the forced displacement of the people of northern Gaza to the center, then to
the south, and ultimately forcing over two million people to flee their homes
after most of them were destroyed—plotting to deport them to Sinai in
conspiracy with schemes that violate every rule established by humanity.
All of
these crimes have been perpetrated by the occupying 'Israeli' army with
extreme, excessive brutality and in total defiance of all international laws,
while the world stands by as a mere spectator to these transgressions that have
crossed all boundaries over three consecutive months.
Under
these dire conditions, prisoners are subjected to torture and both physical and
psychological abuse, alongside the abduction of infant children and
transferring them into the occupied territories. Therefore, I believe it is the
duty of every human being who values their humanity and believes in their Lord
to denounce these violations, which run counter to all human codes and
universal values agreed upon by mankind.
And Allah
is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.
