The starvation war in Gaza!

We
have heard much about the famine in our present time, especially in the African
continent, which Europe feeds on its resources while leaving most of its people
in the darkness of ignorance, poverty, and hunger!
Hunger
is no longer just a humanitarian issue; it has been incorporated into domestic
and foreign policies. Thus, we are now faced with policies that deny food and
drink to a certain populace to achieve political goals. Hunger may arise from
dire humanitarian circumstances or from barbaric policies that seek to keep
people prisoners to a loaf of bread.
The
policy of starvation has been used in wars by bloodthirsty regimes. Hence, it
is said: "He starved the prisoners: he deprived them of food and drink,
causing them hunger," and it is also said: "He besieged the city
until its people were starved.
Many
famines have occurred in both ancient and modern human history, perhaps the
most notable of which include: the famine in the Levant in 1915, the Soviet
famine in 1932, the Great Chinese Famine in 1932, the famine in Morocco in
1944, Vietnam in 1945, Iraq after 1990, Sudan in 1998, Yemen in 2016, and Gaza
in 2025!
In
affirmation of its dark policies, the "Israeli" authorities continue
to prevent the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in
the Near East (UNRWA) from delivering food to Gaza for more than 4 months,
which constitutes a deliberate and politically motivated act of starvation.
The
Gaza blockade has reached a frightening stage, and a significant percentage of
its population has reached the fifth stage of famine, which cannot be treated
even if food becomes available in the future!
Dr.
Hadeel Al-Qazzaz, spokesperson for the organization "Oxfam," an
international federation of charities focused on alleviating global poverty,
revealed on July 21, 2025, that Gaza has officially entered the fifth stage of
the food security classification; the highest stage, which means a declaration
of famine; this typically necessitates the declaration of an international
emergency and global mobilization for relief.
The
"Gaza Health" stated on July 19, 2025, that famine in the sector has
reached catastrophic levels, and more than two million people are facing
hunger. The world has turned a deaf ear to the cries of starving children, as
71 children have died due to hunger and malnutrition!
One
of the fiercest battles is the battle of empty stomachs; because a person
cannot live a stable life, let alone a peaceful one, without at least having
enough food to satiate their hunger!
And
it is painful that the weapon of starvation has its keys to dismantling in Arab
land, and through the Egyptian Rafah crossing, this weapon can be thwarted, and
aid can be sent to save people from certain death!
The
tragedy of mass death in Gaza due to starvation has become an undeniable
reality. How can we accept this shame that will haunt us for decades while we
watch the people of Gaza perish before our eyes, with nothing but prayers and
expressions of distress?
We
have seen how people are collapsing in the streets of the sector due to the
severity of the deadly famine they are experiencing, while the neighboring Arab
countries remain completely silent!
This
famine comes at a time when UNRWA has confirmed that it has enough food for the
residents of Gaza for more than three months, and that these supplies are
stored in warehouses, including this warehouse in Al-Arish, Egypt, and are
ready to enter, with supplies available and systems in place.
UNRWA
called for the opening of crossings, lifting the siege, and allowing its teams
to carry out their work and assist those in dire need, including one million
children.
UNRWA
has confirmed that families are unable to find flour, people are going without
meals for days, and prices have increased by more than 500%.
Just
hours ago, Agence France-Presse (AFP), citing a UN official, reported
that “Israeli” forces opened fire on crowds in Gaza who were trying to take
food from a World Food Programme convoy!
What
kind of disdain for humanity and human laws is this that we see in Gaza?!
The
crime of the century committed by "Israel" will be recorded by
history as one of the most heinous crimes against humanity and the living in
Gaza. At the same time, history will note that the vast majority of countries
around the world, especially the Arab and Islamic ones, have betrayed Gaza and
have merely watched the slow death of its people through the channels that
report the tragedy in real-time!
