on security and stability.

to take necessary measures to protect their sovereignty. Meanwhile, Kuwait and
China reviewed their historic and strategic ties and ways to strengthen
cooperation.

Emirates over the martyrdom of two servicemen in a helicopter crash, and

Al-Huwaila praised the vital role of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in serving
the community and strengthening humanitarian work during her inspection visit
to the Society’s headquarters. She reviewed its emergency preparedness plans,
shelter readiness, and measures to enhance relief operations.

Kuwait Condemns Israeli Occupation’s Closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque Gates to Worshippers
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of
Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation
authorities’ closure of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem to
worshippers, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan. The ministry
stressed that this constitutes a blatant violation of international law, an
assault on freedom of worship, and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims
worldwide.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the ministry affirmed that
the restrictions imposed on worshippers’ access to Al-Aqsa Mosque and places of
worship in the Old City represent a clear violation of international law and
international humanitarian law, and undermine the historical and legal status
quo in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
Kuwait reiterated its categorical rejection of these illegal
measures, holding the occupation authorities fully responsible for the
continuation of practices that inflame Muslim sentiments globally. It called on
the international community to assume its responsibilities in deterring the
occupation authorities from such violations, respecting the sanctity of holy
sites, and ensuring freedom of access to places of worship.
The statement stressed that the entire area of Al-Aqsa
Mosque, measuring 144 dunams, is an exclusive place of worship for Muslims, and
that the Jerusalem Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, affiliated with
the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites in the Hashemite
Kingdom of Jordan, is the sole legal authority with exclusive jurisdiction over
the administration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the regulation of entry to it.

The Ministry of Defense affirmed that Kuwait’s military and
security agencies continue to perform their duties with full efficiency and
readiness, closely monitoring regional developments and taking necessary
defensive measures to protect the country’s airspace, security, and the safety
of citizens and residents.
In a press briefing, Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Saud
Al-Atwan reported that within the past 24 hours, two ballistic missiles were
intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems in southern Kuwait. Armed
forces also downed a drone in the north, while the National Guard destroyed six
drones in the south, reflecting integrated military cooperation. He stressed
that the armed forces stand united under the directives of His Highness the
Amir, Commander-in-Chief Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, ensuring national security at
all times.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that security agencies
are monitoring developments around the clock and that the situation inside
Kuwait remains under control. Brigadier Nasser BuSulaib stated that bomb
disposal teams handled 15 reports of debris from defensive interceptions in the
past 24 hours, raising the total to 329 since the start of the aggression.
Sirens were activated twice, bringing the total to 82 times since the attacks
began.
The Ministry of Social Affairs emphasized that Kuwait’s
social work system is fully prepared, with strategic stocks of food, consumer
goods, gas, and supplies sufficient and available. Dr. Jassim Al-Kandari,
Director General of Social Care, urged responsible consumption to maintain
market stability. He noted that 95 shelters have been prepared in schools
across all governorates, fully equipped with food, bedding, and essentials, in
coordination with cooperative societies and charities.
Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila also
conducted field visits to care homes and shelters to ensure readiness and the
continuity of services, stressing that the safety of residents and
beneficiaries remains a top priority.
Social Affairs Ministry: Stable Stock of Essential and Consumer Goods
Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social
Affairs, affirmed that field indicators from cooperative societies reflect the
stability of the strategic stock of essential and consumer goods, with supply
operations continuing at a normal and regular pace to meet consumer needs
without obstacles.
In a press statement during an inspection tour of several
cooperative societies—accompanied by Dr. Sayed Issa, Acting Assistant
Undersecretary for Financial, Administrative, and Cooperative Affairs—Al-Ajmi
explained that the tour comes within the ministry’s ongoing field monitoring of
vital sectors linked to food security. This follows directives from the
political leadership, Cabinet decisions, and instructions from Minister of
Social Affairs, Women’s Affairs, and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, aimed at reinforcing
market stability and ensuring the sustainable availability of essential goods
for citizens and residents.
He noted that the tour included reviewing
inventory management mechanisms, organizing display and sales operations inside
cooperative markets, and monitoring procedures to ensure the smooth flow and
continuous availability of goods—strengthening the food system’s stability and
meeting consumer needs.
Al-Ajmi stressed that the ministry attaches great importance
to the cooperative sector, describing it as a pioneering economic and social
model in Kuwait. He pointed out that efforts are ongoing to support this sector
and enhance its operational efficiency to meet current requirements and serve
the public interest.
He concluded by emphasizing the need to maintain the highest
levels of operational readiness, improve inventory management efficiency, and
ensure the continuous availability of goods—reflecting the vital role

Kuwait Urges UN Action to Halt Ongoing Iranian Aggression
For the second time, Kuwait has sent identical letters to
the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council regarding
the ongoing Iranian aggression against the country since February 28.
According to a Foreign Ministry statement, the letters
highlighted Iran’s continued armed attacks involving ballistic missiles and
drones targeting Kuwaiti territory and airspace, in flagrant violation of
sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter—particularly Article 2(4)
prohibiting the use of force. Kuwait stressed that it is not a party to any
regional conflict, underscoring the unlawful and unjustified nature of the
aggression.
The letters detailed that the attacks struck military bases,
vital facilities, and civilian infrastructure, including Kuwait International
Airport, its fuel tanks, and the headquarters of the Public Institution for
Social Security. Kuwait confirmed that its air defenses intercepted most of the
attacks, but casualties included four members of the armed forces and security
agencies, with additional injuries among civilians.
Kuwait also noted that the targeting of the U.S. Embassy in
Kuwait constituted a grave violation of international law and the Vienna
Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The total number of attacks recorded
between February 28 and March 8 reached 234 missiles and 422 drones.
Reaffirming its inherent right to self-defense under Article
51 of the UN Charter, Kuwait called on the Security Council to assume its
responsibilities in maintaining international peace and security, and demanded
Iran immediately cease its unlawful attacks against Kuwait, GCC states, and
other non-belligerent countries in the region.
Separately, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Al-Jaber received
calls from Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Pakistani Deputy Prime
Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, and Australian Foreign
Minister Penny Wong. All expressed solidarity with Kuwait, condemned Iran’s
aggression, and emphasized respect for Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial
integrity.
Foreign Minister: Iran’s Aggression Against Regional States Cannot Be Justified
Sheikh Jarrah Al-Jaber, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, affirmed
on Sunday that the aggression carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran
against countries in the region that have never been party to the conflict is
unjustifiable under any pretext, and constitutes a dangerous escalation
threatening regional security and stability as well as international peace and
security.
Speaking while leading Kuwait’s delegation at the
extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level—held
virtually to discuss ongoing Iranian attacks on Arab states—Al-Jaber stressed
that this aggression requires a firm stance and clear, serious action to
safeguard regional peace and security, based on the principle that Arab
national security is indivisible.
He reiterated Kuwait’s condemnation of the heinous Iranian
aggression that the country has been subjected to since Saturday, February 28,
noting that 234 missiles and 422 drones were recorded. He added that the
attacks resulted in casualties among citizens and residents, including a child,
as well as the martyrdom of two members of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces and two
personnel from the General Directorate of Border Security of the Ministry of
Interior while performing their duties, in addition to injuries among civilians
and military personnel.
Al-Jaber explained that the aggression inflicted material
losses by targeting civilian and vital infrastructure, such as Kuwait
International Airport, its fuel tanks, and the main building of the Public
Institution for Social Security—constituting a flagrant violation of
international law, international humanitarian law, and the UN Charter.
He also condemned the systematic aggression against regional
states, whether directly or through militias, factions, and armed groups loyal
to Iran.
The Foreign Minister affirmed Kuwait’s full and inherent
right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, and to take all
necessary measures to protect its territory, airspace, people, and residents.
He expressed appreciation for the positions of brotherly and
friendly countries that have declared solidarity with Kuwait and supported all
measures it has taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.

upon). The Society stressed that the campaign’s goal is to alleviate the
suffering of poor patients who cannot afford treatment costs.
This initiative comes as an extension of the Society’s

for prayers or any other activities.
It also noted that prayers in Ramadan tents outside mosques

during the last ten nights of Ramadan from midnight for a duration of half an

infrastructure in both the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In a statement, Al-Budaiwi affirmed that this aggressive act
reflects Iran’s escalatory approach and embodies the continuation of its
destabilizing policies that undermine security and stability in the region.
He added that targeting vital facilities and civilian
infrastructure constitutes a blatant and unacceptable violation of all
international norms and conventions, clearly contradicts the principles of
international law and good neighborliness, and represents a dangerous
escalation that could undermine the security and stability of GCC states and
harm the stability of global energy markets.
Al-Budaiwi called on the international community to assume
its responsibilities in halting these repeated Iranian attacks and putting an
immediate end to irresponsible actions that threaten regional and international
peace and security.
He further reiterated the GCC’s full and unwavering

eggs per day, in addition to producing around 10,000 broiler chickens
daily—figures that reflect the scale of production capacity contributing to the
support of the local market.

to ensure continuity of production and safeguard the overall system.
Al-Hay’s tour included a visit to one of the livestock
