Journalist’s Role in Resisting Zionist Oppression

It is essential to support Gaza specifically and Palestine in general by all means and collaborative tricks to liberate them from the clutches of the occupying entity, which believes in Zionism. It is evident that this struggling solidarity needs to resort to geopolitical pressure, strategic communication, legal work, popular mobilization, and academic precision. Perhaps the easiest of these means is the media.

We cannot separate what is happening in Gaza from the global Zionist movement; the liberation of Palestine can only occur over the corpse of Zionism.

From the beginning, we state that we do not use the concepts of the enemy except because they are prevalent and we need the necessary understanding; we do not believe in the existence of a mountain in Palestine called "Zion," neither geographically nor Islamically, so how can we believe in the concept of "Zion" attributed to this mythical mountain?! As for the concept of "Israel" among Muslims, it is very different from what secular Jews mean.

Phase One: Strategic Communication and Narrative Warfare (Breaking Media Bias and Shaping Global Perception):

The message of Islamic and Arabic media is to lift the veil on such falsehoods and lies, and not to limit its goal to the short term, which is to put an end to the genocide, the war of starvation, and ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

From here, it is important for insightful media professionals to develop a comprehensive practical plan in accordance with a well-structured strategy aimed at completely dismantling the Zionist settlement occupation, in both practical reality and the foundational ideology.

The role of serious, purposeful, and message-driven media is to reveal to the world the harmful actions of the Zionist entity, to focus on the occupation in Palestine, and to detail the evidence of the genocide and ethnic cleansing occurring in Gaza, without neglecting to confront Zionism around the world, starting with exposing the crimes of the usurping entity in Palestine, and addressing Zionist influence globally, ultimately dismantling the structures of occupation completely.

Why does the Arab and Muslim media professional merely convey the news, content with their media platform? Shouldn't they plan for the outcome of their media work in order to impact the reality that has been let down by politicians? Can’t they create a comprehensive strategic plan to expose the Israeli occupation, genocide, and reveal the actions of global Zionism in numbing peoples to enslave them and plunder their resources?

When statements turn into bullets

Overcoming Western media bias; Arab and Islamic media will only have meaning if they overcome the globally imposed media bias against Palestine and the Muslim Ummah. This overcoming can be achieved by establishing an alternative media system; we practically propose the following:

First: A call for the youth of the nation to engage in a multilingual electronic uprising, to partake in the battle for awareness and to shift the balance.

Secondly: Expanding the channels of "Al Jazeera," diversifying them, branching them out, and specializing them has performed excellently.

Third: Establishing confronting media sites similar to the "Mondoweiss" site, which is antagonistic towards "Israel," to the extent that many figures and organizations have classified it as anti-Semitic, and even anti-Jewish. Among these figures is Mitchell Bard, the executive director of the American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise, in addition to newspapers such as the Washington Post, Atlantic, Algemeiner Journal, and the Jewish Virtual Library.

Fourth: Launching news channels on social media platforms such as "TikTok" and "Telegram" aimed at a young audience.

Promoting celebrities who support Palestine; by frequently discussing them and their opinions in service of the cause, conducting interviews with them, and supporting them in their stances. This includes:

- Recruiting stars from cinema, art, and sports, such as the ninety artists who supported Gaza in an open letter directed from the heart of Zionist Hollywood to the United States government, including figures like Roger Waters.

Recruiting academics and supporting them, such as Jewish political linguist Noam Chomsky and Angela Davis.

Opening a blacklist for lobby groups and organizations supporting the occupying entity in Western media or in Hollywood.

Confronting Zionist propaganda; by exposing the lies of this propaganda in detail, revealing its fallacies, and playing with the minds of Westerners to the point of embarrassing contempt, including:

- Exposing Hasbara, countering Cyber Troops, tracking AI-generated bots, revealing their fake accounts on social media, exposing their use of unknown tools like Graphika, heavily leaking Israeli government memos, similar to the leaks from +972 Magazine, and waging memetic warfare by promoting successful hashtags such as #GazaHolocaust and #ZionismIsColonialism.

Some young activists see effectiveness in deepfakes and artificial intelligence (Deepfake & AI) by simulating admissions from Zionist officials regarding their crimes, despite the ethical concerns surrounding it.

Is Palestine becoming the world's first prison managed by algorithms?

The second stage: Documentation and evidence gathering... From media to law:

The successful journalist is one who strives to document war crimes, acts of starvation, genocide, and ethnic cleansing. Here, there is an urgent need to train Palestinian journalists and researchers on documenting war crimes according to the standards of the International Criminal Court.

This documentation is based on collecting medical and forensic reports, such as autopsy reports, analyses of mass graves, and famine statistics. It can rely on testimonies from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and offices of the World Health Organization (WHO). Here, there is an urgent need to use blockchain technology to timestamp the evidence to prevent manipulation, as the foundation of all future actions is assumed to be conclusive.

The resort to open-source inquiries (O.S.I.) is essential for the work, and they are available via satellites (OSINT); to track the destruction in Gaza, there is an urgent need to use Maxar, Sentinel Hub, and Planet Labs. To preserve evidence, it is necessary to partner with legal tech entities such as Bellingcat, Forensic Architecture, and Mnemonic.

Here we prepare for the strategy of the counter-Zionist response; their surveillance may lead them to ban "Facebook" and "Twitter." Therefore, one can resort to alternative platforms that are decentralized in communication, namely "Mastodon" and "PeerTube." They may claim that their opponents' actions fall under the category of defaming "anti-Semitism," which is why our criticism should be framed as anti-Zionist, not anti-Jewish. To ensure the smooth operation of our communications, we will rely on secure email communications through the platforms "Signal" and "Proton.

It is better to support media work with academic and legal framing in field documentation. Despite the truth being as clear as the sun at noon, international legal practitioners still insist on demanding evidence. Academics can academically prove the Israeli settlement occupation by citing Western scholars such as Patrick Wolfe and Lorenzo Veracini, and they can demonstrate genocide by referring to the studies of academics Raz Segal and Norman Finkelstein. They can then publish their research in specialized peer-reviewed Western journals.

After this media effort, crowned with criminal legal evidence, the stage of legal petitions begins by filing lawsuits before the International Criminal Court (ICC), the International Court of Justice (ICJ), national courts, and courts such as those operating under universal jurisdiction. The initial step in this process is to advocate for an arms embargo under the Geneva Conventions.

The ultimate goal is not limited to stopping the genocide in Gaza, but rather to completely dismantle the Zionist settlement occupation and to strike at Zionism around the world.
