Netanyahu's Holocaust…
In Gaza’s bounds, no soul is spared.

When the term "Holocaust" is
mentioned, attention is immediately drawn to the genocide that Jews allegedly
faced in Europe, particularly in Germany, before and during World War II, where
it is said that millions of Jews perished at the hands of the Nazi regime in
Germany. This prompted condemnation from countries around the world for those
massacres, and it evoked a reaction from Arab and Islamic countries. Thus, the
"Holocaust" became a global symbol of the suffering of innocents and
victims of racist policies and mass atrocities, and an ethical lever that
"Israel" has long relied upon to build its international
"legitimacy.
The tragic irony, indeed the
moral scandal, is that the "state" born from the womb of that
historical catastrophe is today committing a crime similar to, if not worse
than, against an unarmed besieged people in a small piece of land known as
"Gaza Strip." This is under the command
of the so-called Benjamin Netanyahu and his faction, who have long raised and
repeated slogans and claims of "national security" and "fighting
terrorism." Gaza has turned into a stage for one of the most horrifying
forms of collective revenge in modern times, a new Holocaust, but this time the
victims are the Palestinians, and the executioners are a group that calls
itself a "state" while simultaneously claiming – through its actions
– to "defend human rights"!
Since
the beginning of March 2025, coinciding with the blessed month of Ramadan—a
month revered by Muslims around the world—Israel launched one of its most
intense military campaigns on Gaza, under the name "Strength and
Sword." On March 17 specifically, the Israeli forces began executing a
wide-ranging missile and artillery attack on various areas of Gaza, followed by
a ground invasion in several regions of the sector, including Gaza City, Khan
Younis, and Rafah. In addition, Netanyahu's government continued to impose a
systematic and deliberate starvation policy against the civilian population,
enforcing a harsh blockade on all of Gaza that prevented the arrival of food,
medicine, and essential medical equipment. They also obstructed patients in
need of treatment and special care from traveling abroad, in addition to
cutting electricity, destroying wells and water sources, and sabotaging sewer
systems to create a deadly, unhealthy environment that leads to the spread of
fatal epidemics.
According
to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, this campaign has resulted in the martyrdom
of more than 404 people and the injury of more than 562 others in just a few
days, with the majority of the victims being women and children. More than 150
children have also been killed, in a scene reminiscent of images from the Holocaust,
but this time these successive events are broadcast live before the eyes of the
world moment by moment, without gas chambers but through continuous air
strikes, smart missiles, drones, and ongoing artillery and naval bombardments,
sparing neither infants nor children nor the elderly. Even centers of
humanitarian and international organizations, hospitals, health centers, and
ambulances have not been safe from the various types of bombardment,
destruction, targeting, and demolition.

Following
this, the United Nations, through its Secretary-General Antonio Guterres,
announced "serious concern" regarding the escalation of violence,
expressing shock at the targeting of a medical and humanitarian convoy on March
23, which resulted in the deaths of 15 workers in the medical and humanitarian
fields. According to statements from Stephane Dujarric, the spokesperson for
the United Nations, over 100,000 Palestinians have been displaced from Rafah
alone in just two days, after their homes were destroyed in random and
unjustified bombing operations.
The
"Israeli" army claimed that the attacks aimed to "weaken
Hamas" and target "military leaders," but independent reports
and testimonies from human rights organizations indicated that most of the
victims were civilians. In fact, some analysts viewed this operation as not
much different from ethnic cleansing, or at least reflecting a grave disregard
for the rules of international humanitarian law, especially since the massacres
took place during a time that is supposed to be a symbol of peace and spiritual
reflection... which is the month of Ramadan.
According
to the latest statistics issued by the Palestinian Central Bureau of
Statistics, the human losses, according to an official report from the
Palestinian Ministry of Health, caused by the "Israeli" occupation in
Palestine from 7/10/2023 to 15/4/2025, are as follows:
51,900
total martyrs in the Gaza Strip.
17,950
children (Gaza Strip)
12,365
women (Gaza Strip)
955
total martyrs in the West Bank.
3535
elderly (Gaza Strip)
1,394
martyrs are the number of medical personnel.
210
martyrs among journalists.
800
martyrs from the educational staff
188
martyr children in the West Bank
203
martyrs from UNRWA staff
105 martyrs from the civil defense.
11200

4,700
missing women and children.
123043
number of the injured and disabled.
18,700
cases of arrest.
2,000,000
two million forcibly displaced.
The
total number of buildings that were completely and partially destroyed reached
173,311 buildings.
The
British newspaper "The Guardian" reported in April 2025: "Every
day without a ceasefire brings a new tragedy... and people are dying not only
from shelling, but from hunger as well.
It is
difficult for language to do justice to Gaza in description, as the words we
repeat, such as "genocide," "cleansing," and "war
crime," almost lose their meaning from being repeated in the face of the
horror of what is happening. What truly exacerbates the tragedy is the
disturbing global silence, or the awkward stances that do not even touch the
edges of the catastrophe. Worse still, major powers, led by the United States
of America, do not content themselves with merely watching, but continue to
supply the "Israeli" killing machine with weapons and support,
drowning the Palestinians in a new Holocaust, without memory, without
accountability, without shame.
These
massacres that have lasted for eighty years against a people defending their
independence mark the beginning of the end for an occupying, rogue entity. This
is one of the cosmic laws: for every oppressor, there is an end that will be
recorded in the annals of history alongside other periods of injustice and
persecution. And God is predominant over His affair.
I
will conclude my article with a poem by the poet and writer Saadia Mufarah, who
responded to what has happened and is happening in Gaza, like any person who
possesses the simplest feelings of humanity.
And
Gaza’s sign is that it unveils,
While stars go dark—hers alone prevails.
And suns may shine, yet none bestow
The warmth her fierce light dares to show.
The world is still, but she’s a storm,
In thunder and flame, she takes her form.
And
Gaza’s sign is her echo’s neigh,
Wounds that speak in a noble way.
And the blood that flows from pain’s own breast
Will mark the killer—and the rest.
And
Gaza’s sign is a conscience stirred,
Though it falters, it stains the dusk, unheard.
And though the shell may miss its mark,
It learns: the end is pride—hope’s spark.
And
Gaza’s sign is that we remain,
Through siege and death, through loss and pain.
To her we cling, the dead her light,
A single road through darkest night,
Toward a garden, lush and bright.
