Feminist-Centric Ideologies Challenging Human Nature

Advocates of the women’s liberation movement are fully aware of the simple, self-evident human
truth: there are biological, psychological, and social differences between men
and women. These differences vary in terms of each gender’s behavior in depth and superficiality, and they manifest in different
role distributions and divisions of labor.
But instead of trying to erase
these differences and eliminate them completely, the women’s liberation
movement works hard to prevent them from turning into injustice or social and
human inequality that would widen the gap between males and females.
Feminist-Centric Movement and the Denial of Human Balance
On the other hand, advocates of
the feminist-centric movement swing violently between two extremes: seeing the
differences between men and women as a vast, unbridgeable gulf on one side, and
completely denying the existence of any differences on the other.
Thus, they reject the idea of
role distribution or division of labor, emphasize the impossibility of genuine
meeting between men and women, and show no concern for the concept of justice.
They instead attempt either to widen the gap between men and women or to equalize them
entirely. They demand, for example, that males become both fathers and mothers at the same time, and so the females.
Genetic engineering, perhaps,
will “solve” many of these so-called problems, opening wide the doors of
endless experimentation, so that a man may carry a child (not just a plastic
womb), and the burdens of pregnancy can be bypassed through convenient cloning
procedures.
Meanwhile, changing laws in the
West will take care of any remaining “formal problems” that may place limits on
experimentation. A female can marry another female or a man, depending on what
they call “sexual preference.” The matter even extends to inner feelings: a
real woman must not have emotions different from those of a man, and a real man
must not feel differently from a woman.
Hollywood’s Role in Shaping Gender Narratives
Hollywood, the
largest mechanism humanity has ever known for spreading ideas and visions,
plays an active role in this domain. Movies are emerging in which women seduce
men, “so-called” men blush at women.
The goal behind all this is not
to broaden our horizons or break rigid mental molds that shape how each gender
views and imprisons the other, but rather to strike at the very heart of
universal human standards and shared humanity, so that all distinctions are
erased.
Modern science, with its
astounding “progress,” may also contribute to this cause. A man could take a
female-centric capsule and suddenly feel like a woman, being completely
equalized internally. A woman could take a male-centric capsule and suddenly
feel like a man, also being fully equalized internally.
View of Humanity: Women’s Liberation Movement Vs. Feminist-Centric
The women’s liberation movement,
at the end of the day and in final analysis, believes in shared humanity
between all people, men and women alike. This broad, common ground is the
foundation for dialogue and the framework within which equality can be pursued.
Thus, men can join the women’s
liberation movement, participate in dialogue over demands raised to secure
justice for women, and society—both male and female—can adopt a reform program
in this direction. Both men and women can support and stand behind it.
The feminist-centric movement,
however, denies this shared humanity. Men cannot join such a movement, because
as men, they cannot feel the emotions of women. They are also considered guilty, bearing the burden of
patriarchal history, even though they did not create it.
The feminist-centric movement
also denies differences altogether, which leaves no space for diversity, and no
space for humanity as we know it.
Therefore, there is no reform
program in the feminist-centric movement, nor any genuine attempt to achieve
equality between men and women. There is no effort to change laws or social
frameworks in order to preserve women’s humanity as mothers, wives, daughters, and as members of family and
society.
If there is any “reform program,”
it emerges only from a deconstructionist framework aiming either to increase
women’s efficiency in conflict with men or to completely equalize them with
men. In either case, there is a denial of shared humanity. Thus, the so-called
reform program is one that seeks to alter human nature, history, symbols, and
languages.
