A Message to the World from Kuwait

This is not a cry for help, nor a message of need, nor words of weakness in a passing moment.

Rather, it is a message written from a place of steadfastness, from a history not built on reactions, but on action itself.

Kuwait has never been a country that waits to be noticed. It has always been one that initiates… reaches out… and supports.

It has never offered its humanity as a political option, nor as a card to be used, but as a value to be lived.

When crises intensified around the world, Kuwait was present—without noise. And when many nations found their paths constrained, its hand was extended—without limits.

It never asked: Who are you?

It asked: What do you need?

And so its slogan was never mere words, but a lived reality: “Kuwait is by your side.”

A Moment of Truth: What Will the World Do?

Today, as Kuwait faces an attack targeting civilians, the question is not: What will Kuwait do?

Kuwait knows its path. It knows how to protect itself and move forward.

The real question is: What will the world do?

Not because Kuwait needs… but because values themselves need to be tested.

Because loyalty is not a feeling to be spoken—it is a stance to be taken.

“Al-Haqwa”: A Culture of Trust and Expectation

In Kuwaiti culture, there is a word that captures the meaning: “Al-Haqwa.”

It is not a request, but a noble expectation—that those who know you, and who know your goodness, will stand with you without being asked.

This message is not a demand, but a reminder… a reminder that relationships between nations are not built solely on interests, but on memory… on actions… and on what remains after crises fade.

A reminder that humanity, if it is not translated in difficult moments, loses its meaning in every other moment.

Standing with Kuwait: A Test of Values and Loyalty

Standing with Kuwait today is not a position in favor of a state, but a position in favor of an idea: that those who choose the path of goodness are not left alone, and that those who put humanity first deserve to find the world standing beside them.

We are not here to prove Kuwait’s strength—for that is established—nor to declare its capability—for that is known.

Rather, we say: the world, in moments like these, is tested.

Either it remains loyal to its memory, truthful to its values… or it allows silence to write what is left unsaid.

From Kuwait, which has always stood by you—this is not an appeal, but “Al-Haqwa.”
