The Nama Association for Zakat and Community Development which belongs to the Social Reform Association announced that it will continue to receive donations for the project “Teach Me and get a reward from Allah”, which aims to pay tuition fees for orphan students who are unable to pay fees. The project will benefit 1666 students, including 88 elementary students in strategic partnership with the General Secretariat of Awqaf.
The Director of Charitable Resources Development at Nama for Zakat and Community Development Foundation, Musaed Al-Rakhees, praised the strategic partnership between Nama Association for Zakat and Community Development and the General Secretariat of Awqaf in many of the charitable and humanitarian projects that Nama is conducting in Kuwait.
Al-Rakhees stressed that Nama is moving forward in achieving its strategic vision aimed at activating the role of partnerships with all donor institutions to provide assistance and support to the needy, the disadvantaged and the orphan students.
“The strategic coordination between the donors and the implementers is essential to achieve the best results in the best way. Therefore, it was important to strengthen the partnership between Nama and the Awqaf General Secretariat through various charitable projects, including sponsoring orphans. Al-Rakhees said.
