BEQAA, East Lebanon
Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) delivered, in coordination with the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC), relief aid to some 400 Syrian refugee families in Lebanon.
KRCS's official Qassim Ahmad stated to KUNA that the relief aid consisted of foodstuff with one package being sufficient to feed a family of five for a whole month.
KRCS is keen on intensifying aid for Syrian refugee families in Lebanon, particularly those living in the country's southern region, he affirmed.
Syrians had been plagued by an armed conflict since 2011, resulting in the displacement and exodus of millions people.
