Khurshid Khan, the Vice President of the Islamic Association of Greater Shreveport, says two signs were posted on the property of the mosque, known locally as Masjid Al Noor located at 1000 Delhi Street in state of Los Angeles.
Khan says one sign was posted on the front door of the mosque and the other on the outside sign.
Both signs reportedly read, "Imagine a Muslim-free America!"
Khan adds that they are planning to contact Bossier City Police, but also wanted to get the word out to the general public.
They're asking anyone with information about this case to contact police.
This incident comes amid growing tensions in the local Muslim community ever since President Trump issued an executive order that bans citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. for the next 90 days.
That ban has since been blocked by the Supreme Court.( KSLA News 12)
