IICO sponsors an exhibition in America documenting the untold stories of Gaza

In a new step that reflects its commitment to conveying the voice of Gaza to the world, International Islamic Charity Organization sponsors the exhibition "Through Their Lens: The Untold Stories of Gaza," organized by the Humanitarian Photography Grant Initiative in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. This exhibition serves as a genuine window and a humanitarian message that highlights the painful human reality that Gaza is experiencing.

Exhibition Dates and Highlights

The exhibition, which started on February 7 and will continue until March 29, features documentary works by some of the most prominent Palestinian photographers, who have utilized their lenses to convey the truth and document the details of suffering and resilience in the face of the brutal war machine that has been unleashed upon them, one of the most violent in modern times. Through their images, the stories of families who lost their homes, the dreams of children trapped under rubble, and the sacrifices of women for the sake of life are revealed, uncovering the human face left behind by war, which often remains obscured by political headlines.

Featured Photographers

The exhibition, which opened on Friday, February 7, features several prominent Palestinian photographers who have documented the most profound human moments in Gaza, including: Abdul Rahman Zaqout, Ahmed Salama, Ali Jadallah, Bilal Al-Homsi, Fatima Shbeir, Bilal Khaled, Jihad Al-Sharafi, Mahmoud Abu Hamda, Fathi Magdy, Anas Ayad, and Hossam Younes.

Humanitarian Sponsorship

The sponsorship of this exhibition by the International Islamic Charity Organization reaffirms its humanitarian role in supporting initiatives that shed light on the humanitarian and life tragedies faced by the vulnerable in conflict areas, especially in Gaza. It is seen as an effective means of amplifying their voices to the world and revealing truths that may not be conveyed through traditional mediums. Through visual arts, pain transforms into a message, and suffering into documentation, serving as a testament to the importance of directing support to those in need there and striving to improve their lives.

Kuwaiti publisher Takween wins Best Arab Publisher at Cairo Book Fair

Takween shares award with Egypt’s Namaa Publishing and Research Center

Kuwaiti publishing house Takween was awarded Best Arab Publisher at the 56th Cairo International Book Fair, a distinction shared with Egypt’s Namaa Publishing and Research Center. The event, organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, celebrated the achievements of Arab publishers.

Founded in March 2016, Takween is a multidisciplinary cultural center based in Kuwait, encompassing a library, publishing house, creative writing workshop, and cultural platform. The organization aims to be “a driving force of soft power in the Arab world,” promoting values of freedom, pluralism, acceptance of others, and human rights. Its published works have received critical acclaim, with many winning prestigious literary awards. In 2024, Kuwaiti novelist Abdullah Al-Husseini’s Baqi Al-Washm (The Remaining Tattoo), published by Takween, won the Palestinian Ministry of Culture’s Ghassan Kanafani Award for Arabic Fiction. This award recognizes writers who promote truth, freedom, and resistance.

That same year, Takween owner and Kuwaiti novelist Buthayna Al-Essa’s novel The Book Censor’s Library was longlisted for the 2024 US National Book Foundation Award in the translated literature category. First published in 2019 by Dar Al-‘Arabiyya Li-l-‘Ulum and Takween Publishing, the novel explores themes of intellectual freedom and the effects of oppression on human identity, blending philosophical literature with science fiction.

Egyptian Minister of Culture Ahmed Hano congratulated the winners of the fair’s competitions, urging them to continue their creative endeavors. Dr. Ahmed Bahy El-Din, Head of the Egyptian General Book Authority, highlighted the 56th edition of the fair, noting that it set a record for attendance, making it the most attended in its history.

Kuwait continued its annual participation in the event, which ran from January 23 to February 5. The fair featured 1,345 publishers and over 6,000 exhibitors from 80 countries, with several Kuwaiti pavilions showcasing the Ministry of Information, the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, the Kuwait Research and Studies Center, and various publishing houses.

Education ministry launches award for top public school libraries

The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Library and Information Association, has launched the Excellence Award for school libraries across all educational stages at public, religious, and special education schools.

According to a ministry press release, the award aims to foster a competitive environment that encourages the ongoing development and innovation of school libraries. This initiative seeks to enhance library services and activities that support educational curricula, ultimately strengthening the libraries’ role in the educational process and meeting students’ needs. The press release didn’t mention whether private Arabic schools under the ministry qualify for the award.

This move is part of recent efforts to revitalize school libraries. In September 2024, the Ministry of Education issued a directive to all public and private Arabic schools and kindergartens, instructing them to allocate class time for reading in the school library. A ministry official emphasized the importance of these reading sessions, which expose students to a variety of literary works. These sessions are seen as vital for developing students’ reading skills at an early age.

Under the directives, a librarian has been assigned to each school to coordinate with the Arabic Language Department to organize library visits. Librarians are also tasked with preparing regular reports on the frequency of reading classes and student participation.

While the concept of reading classes isn’t new in Kuwait, challenges such as limited facilities and a compressed curriculum have hindered their regular implementation. School libraries, although crucial for promoting reading, are often absent in private Arabic schools. Where libraries do exist, they are often too small to accommodate an entire class of at least 40 students.

Nominations for the Excellence Award will continue until March 3. Each educational district can nominate only one school from each educational stage. The judging team, made up of members from the Library and Information Association and the Ministry’s Libraries Department, will evaluate the nominated libraries from April 2 to April 20. The team will visit schools to assess the libraries based on the award criteria.

Kuwait sends 23rd relief plane to Syria

The 23rd relief plane took off Tuesday from the Kuwaiti airlift heading to Damascus International Airport carrying 10 tons of food supplies for the most needy groups in Syria as part of the “Kuwait by Your Side” campaign organized by the Kuwait Zakat House in coordination with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense—represented by the Kuwaiti Air Force.

Ayed Al-Mutairi, Projects and Foreign Bodies Supervisor at the Zakat House, told KUNA before takeoff that the continuation of the airlift comes in implementation of the royal directives and is a reflection of the Kuwaiti people’s habit of extending a helping hand to their Syrian brothers and a translation of the long historical ties that unite the two brotherly countries.

Al-Mutairi stressed that the type of relief shipments comes at the request of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, which in turn senses the needs of the governorates, especially the increasing demand for basics such as food, medicine and shelter supplies in light of the instability and lack of infrastructure.

He explained that the Zakat House seeks to operate land trucks in the next phase to provide relief to the Syrian people and provide tons of relief materials, in coordination with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the official bodies.

He expressed his thanks to the official bodies, headed by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense, for their contribution to delivering aid via the Kuwaiti air bridge, praising at the same time the efforts of the charitable people who donated through the Zakat House campaign.

For his part, Acting Director of the External Activities Department at the Zakat House, Abdulrahman Al-Turkait, confirmed that the Zakat House has been providing support and assistance to the Syrian brothers since the outbreak of the crisis more than ten years ago, stressing its efforts to continue providing support.— KUNA

Kuwaiti "Social Reform" Congratulates the Ceasefire Agreement in Gaza: A Victory for Justice and Endurance for the Nation

In a step reflecting hope and embodying the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, the Social Reform Association announced in an official statement its endorsement of the ceasefire and cessation of hostilities in Gaza between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist occupation.

The "Reform" statement read:

"And on that day, the believers will rejoice {4} in the victory of Allah, He grants victory to whom He wills, and He is the Mighty, the Merciful" (Al-Rum).

The good news came with the announcement of the ceasefire and agreement on halting hostilities between our steadfast brothers in Gaza and the aggressive Zionist entity, along with the provisions of this agreement regarding a withdrawal from the territories and an exchange of prisoners.

We at the Social Reform Association congratulate our brothers in Gaza in particular, and our Islamic and Arab nation in general, on this great victory, which would not have been possible without the success of Allah Almighty, and then the steadfastness, heroism, and sacrifices of the Palestinian people.

What the Zionist entity has done is considered a crime of the century against all of humanity, leaving behind tens of thousands of martyrs – children, women, men, and the elderly – and the destruction of infrastructure and entire cities, with no schools, hospitals, or mosques spared. This criminal entity has committed atrocities beyond human comprehension, including mass killings, besiegement, and starvation, all in front of the entire world and its organizations and states. These actions have become a war crime that necessitates the prosecution of those responsible in international courts.

Anyone who has supported the Zionist entity by providing military, financial aid, and political cover is complicit in this crime and in conspiring against the Palestinian people and violating human rights treaties; as it is stated in the Quran (Surah Al-Anfal: 30): (And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or to kill you or to expel you. And they plan, but Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners).

Today, we rejoice in the lifting of the burden from our brothers and begin a new chapter of solidarity and togetherness to meet the needs of thousands of displaced families, and the countless orphans left behind by the Zionist killing machine, who have found no shelter after the destruction of homes and schools, and the collapse of health, food systems, and infrastructure.

We at the Social Reform Association urge everyone, including governments, communities, and international and regional institutions, to fulfill their humanitarian duty to meet the needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza. As stated in Sahih Muslim by Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The example of the believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion is that of a single body; if one part feels pain, the whole body responds with wakefulness and fever."

On this historic day, we do not forget to turn to Allah, asking Him to have mercy on our righteous martyrs, heal our wounded, relieve our afflicted, bring back our missing, and reunite all families.

We extend our gratitude and appreciation to our beloved country Kuwait for its remarkable stance and to its generous people who support the rights of every Palestinian and Arab. We are particularly heartened by the stance of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, may Allah preserve and protect him, in initiating an airbridge to aid Gaza. This is by no means unusual for Kuwait, the land of humanity.

In conclusion, we advise our brothers in Gaza to remain vigilant and cautious of this enemy known for its treachery, and we remind them to thank Allah Almighty and maintain a good relationship with Him, for He is the best protector and helper./ Al-Mujtama

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hofath, Eng. Ahmad Al-Murshed, stated: "Hofath continues to launch its specialized qualitative projects to teach the Holy Quran to the audience from all age groups, and one of the latest of these projects is a new initiative to memorize parts of “Tawakkul” and “Am”, under the name “1000 Degrees”. This project is named as such because the total number of verses in parts “Tawakkul” and “Am” is approximately 1000 verses."

He added: "Congratulations to those who memorize 1000 verses in their hearts, for they will earn 1000 degrees with Allah. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘It will be said to the companion of the Quran, "Recite and rise, and keep reciting as you used to recite in the world, for your station is at the last verse you recite"’ (Narrated by Abu Dawood, Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Nasa'i, and Ahmad). The 1000 Degrees project allows participants to memorize 1000 verses, which is the total of the verses in parts “Tawakkul” and “Am”, through a distinguished curriculum specially prepared for individuals, families, and visitors of diwaniyas."

He added: The "Thousand Degrees" project is being held in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Awqaf and will be available for the youth category in all "Hofath" Quranic centers. As for the adults, it will be available in seven mosques, which are as follows: in the Capital Governorate, Al-Ghamlas Mosque in Al-Qadisiyyah, and Al-Faruq Umar ibn Al-Khattab Mosque in Al-Dasmah. In Hawalli, there is Suhaib Al-Rumi Mosque in the Al-Rumeithiya area, and in Al-Jahra, there is Hassan ibn Thabit Mosque in the Saad Abdullah area. In Ahmadi, there is Saad Manawer Al-Hudabah Mosque in the Fintas area, and in Farwaniya, Ashbiliya area, Baraq Murshid Al-Awaji Mosque, and in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, there is Al-Jarir Al-Tabari Mosque.

The guide called on the esteemed public from all age groups and parents to quickly register their children to join the project and other "Hafath" Quranic programs through the registration link announced on the "Hafath" Association's social media accounts and on the association's website hofath.org./ Al-Mujtama

The project resulted in training 240 young men and women, who are working to support their families and improve their living conditions, including meeting their basic needs for housing, food, health, and education.

Under the training program, participants acquired new skills that could improve their psychological and social stability by enabling them to work and contribute to local economic development.

With this project, the Global Islamic Charity Organization continues to work on creating a stable economic environment for Syrian refugees, transforming them from aid consumers into active producers in society; contributing to the strengthening of social and economic stability among the affected groups./ Al-Mujtama

Namaa Charity brings hope to Gaza with winter aid, tarpaulins

Kuwait’s Namaa Charity is carrying out a campaign to support needy families and children in Gaza, in collaboration with its field partner, the Palestine Al-Ghad Society for Community Development. Walid Al-Bassam, Head of Projects and Development at the charity, said Namaa is distributing clothing packages to over 115 children. The packages included winter clothing and essential items for children and newborns. Additionally, blankets and mats were distributed to 55 families, and 68 tarpaulin sheets were installed to protect 34 tents from rain.

He said the campaign is a continuation of Namaa Charity’s efforts to support people in Gaza, who are facing dire humanitarian conditions due to the Zionist attack and siege and harsh cold weather. He added that distributing clothing packages for children and essentials for newborns reflects the charity’s “commitment to upholding the dignity of families and supporting children, who represent the most vulnerable group in these circumstances.”

Chairperson of Palestine Al-Ghad Society for Community Development, Manal Seyam, said the campaign “comes at a critical time, as the people of Gaza face daily challenges in securing their basic needs.” She added that distributing clothing packages to children “has brought smiles to their faces and given them a sense of warmth in these harsh conditions,” pointing to the importance of the tarpaulin installation.

Seyam explained that installing 68 tarpaulin sheets for the displaced families’ tents was a vital step to protect them from rain and strong winds, especially as many tents were damaged due to the weather conditions. She noted that the goal of the aid is to meet material needs and strengthen the resilience of the affected families, protecting them from diseases caused by the cold and humidity. — KUNA

Kuwait calls for more humanitarian aid for Gaza at Cairo Conference

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya led the country’s delegation at the Cairo Ministerial Conference to Enhance the Humanitarian Response in Gaza, held in Cairo on Monday. The conference, organized by Egypt marks a critical step in addressing the ongoing humanitarian disaster in the region.

The event, which has gathered 103 delegations from countries, international organizations, and financial institutions, is also attended by key figures such as UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, along with ministers and representatives from various regional and international countries, UN agencies, and concerned international organizations. The conference aims to secure clear commitments for providing aid to Gaza, enhancing international support for sustainable humanitarian responses, and mobilizing efforts to provide urgent assistance to the Palestinian population while planning for early recovery within the Gaza strip.

In his address, Minister Al-Yahya emphasized Kuwait’s longstanding commitment to supporting Palestine. He highlighted that Kuwait was one of the first countries to respond swiftly by providing humanitarian aid through air, sea, and land corridors to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Al-Yahya also condemned the ongoing obstruction of aid efforts by the Zionist entity, which has continued to hinder UN attempts to deliver essential humanitarian assistance, exacerbating hunger, malnutrition, and disease. He pointed out that over two million Palestinians are on the brink of famine, adding urgency to the global call for action.

The minister expressed concern over the international community’s double standards, noting the failure to hold the occupying forces accountable for their violations of international law. He stressed that the ongoing atrocities in Gaza — killing, starvation, and displacement — amount to genocide, with the international community still powerless to intervene and hold perpetrators accountable.

Furthermore, Al-Yahya called for global rejection of the recent Zionist entity law banning the operations of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which has been a lifeline for millions of Palestinian refugees. He urged the international community to ensure that UNRWA receives the necessary support to continue its vital operations without political interference.

This year’s conference comes amidst increasing Arab demands to lift the Zionist entity’s restrictions on the passage of aid into Gaza, particularly following the Zionist entity’s decision to ban UNRWA’s operations in October. The conference also discussed the political, security, and humanitarian dimensions of the crisis, focusing on the urgent need for coordinated international efforts to mitigate the suffering in Gaza and work toward sustainable solutions. — KUNA

They also appreciated Qatar’s efforts in securing a ceasefire in Gaza and facilitating the exchange of detainees.

The GCC leaders condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon and warned against its expansion, which could have severe consequences for the people of the region and for international peace and security. They expressed support for the temporary ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and viewed it as a step toward halting the war, ensuring Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanese territories, and the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, as well as the return of displaced persons to their homes.

The leaders expressed full solidarity with the Lebanese people, recalling Kuwait’s efforts and the GCC initiative on Lebanon, urging Lebanese leaders to prioritize national interests and reaffirm the political path to resolve internal conflicts. They also emphasized Lebanon’s vital role in preserving Arab national security, Arab culture, and maintaining strong relations with GCC states.

Peaceful conflict resolution

The leaders praised the continuous efforts of Saudi Arabia and Oman to revive the political process in Yemen, reaffirming their commitment to a peaceful resolution and the enhancement of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve regional disputes in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.

The GCC reaffirmed its collective commitment to a peaceful approach, encouraging dialogue and diplomacy in resolving disputes both within and outside the region, while respecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of states and refraining from the use of force or threats.

The leaders also acknowledged the growing role of the GCC states in addressing regional and global challenges. They commended the council’s contributions in resolving issues that threaten peace, stability, and security, while enhancing international dialogue and fostering partnerships with other nations and groups.

Youth empowerment

The leaders expressed their commitment to continuing efforts to empower women in the Gulf and strengthen the role of youth across the GCC states. They affirmed the role of GCC institutions in achieving these goals.

In line with the GCC’s pursuit of economic diversification and sustainable, innovative development, the leaders underscored the strategic importance of the digital economy as a key pillar supporting the region’s future growth. They highlighted the digital economy as a historic opportunity to promote economic growth and enhance integration among GCC states.

Digital economy

The leaders praised the advanced and resilient digital infrastructure in GCC countries, recognizing it as a fundamental enabler of their digital economic ambitions. They noted that investments in 5G networks, high-speed connectivity, and data centers have strengthened the region’s readiness to become a global hub for the digital economy, thereby accelerating innovation, supporting emerging technologies, and attracting digital investments.

The leaders acknowledged the importance of strategic investments in information technology fields such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. These investments have positioned the GCC states at the forefront of the global digital transformation, focusing on innovative applications in renewable energy, healthcare, education, transportation, and financial services.

They reiterated the importance of enhancing cooperation among GCC states to develop common digital strategies that will contribute to digital integration across their economies, including facilitating e-commerce, developing digital payment systems, and supporting cybersecurity. The leaders also called for accelerating the creation of unified digital markets to enhance regional economic integration and boost the competitiveness of GCC countries globally.

Global contributions

The GCC leaders affirmed that, thanks to their diverse resources, human capital, and advanced technological capabilities, they are increasingly contributing to the global economy. They stressed that the GCC’s digital initiatives are not only aimed at achieving national goals but also at fostering global innovation and economic growth, thus cementing the region’s role as a digital economic power capable of addressing future challenges and providing sustainable solutions.

Kuwait eyes deeper collaboration with Google Cloud

Kuwait plans to deepen its partnership with Google Cloud as part of efforts to give impetus to a national digital drive in line with its strategic 2035 vision, Communication Minister Omar Al-Omar said on Tuesday.

Luring more foreign investment would be a by-product of a full-fledged digital transformation, the minister told a one-of-a kind gathering entitled, “Cloud Day,” an initiative organized by Google, with whom Kuwait has already established a joint training program for the development of “national skills” pertinent to AI and cybersecurity technologies, added the minister.

A national training program is already up and running in a bid to further hone the digital skills of young people and state body employees alike, giving them the opportunity to keep abreast of the most cutting-edge digital technologies as they foray into the job market, the minister added.

Underlining the significance of such endeavors, the Kuwaiti minister expected a “new generation” of tech leaders to lead the digital transformation in Kuwait, ensuring that the nation is firmly placed on a path towards a “brighter and more prosperous” future, he emphasized.

Addressing the gathering, Country Manager for Google Cloud in Kuwait Shaymaa Alterkait said that the tech giant is “dedicated to fostering a thriving digital ecosystem,” allowing businesses, government entities and individuals to harness the “power of the cloud and AI” to drive economic gr owth. Google Cloud’s expanding network of 40 regions, 121 zones and 187 network edge locations represent the “backbone” of the global infrastructure, she highlighted, saying that Google has built a “ dedicated and uniquely skilled” team that will contribute towards Kuwait’s digital transformation. — KUNA

Kuwait mobilizes extensive support for Palestinians through KRCS initiatives

Zionist aggression ‘pushing entire region to regional war’

The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) emphasized on Monday that Kuwait, through its governmental and non-governmental institutions, has made every possible effort to support Palestinians in terms of relief, development, and health initiatives. KRCS also reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause remains at the forefront of its humanitarian agenda. In a statement to KUNA, KRCS Chairman Ambassador Khaled Al-Maghames highlighted Kuwait’s continued support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, in line with the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and emphasized the society’s backing of humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of Palestinians.

He noted that the brutal occupation has caused significant damage in Gaza, causing the Palestinians to seek refuge in camps, and face severe shortage of food, water and medicine. He added that Kuwait has organized an airlift carrying essential aid, including medicine, medical supplies, ambulances, food, and tents, to meet the needs of the Palestinians. The KRCS has played a critical role by collecting donations through its website and working closely with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health to stand with the Palestinians and provide support to the affected.

Al-Maghames explained that the society has deployed a field team within Gaza to distribute urgent aid, including food, medicine, flour, and meals to displaced Palestinians in shelters, underscoring the humanitarian organization’s commitment. The society also successfully facilitated the entry of the first Kuwaiti team and a fully equipped field hospital into the Rafah area of Gaza to provide medical services to the Palestinian people and train Kuwaiti medical personnel, while also caring for orphans there. Al-Maghames further noted that the society has rehabilitated and equipped the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza and launched a clean drinking water project for the displaced in central and southern Gaza shelters.

Meanwhile, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi said on Monday that the Zionist aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, is pushing the entire region into “the abyss of a complete regional war.” This came in a press conference held by the Jordanian Minister after his meeting with Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati where he affirmed that his visit to Lebanon came under the directive of King Abdullah II of Jordan, as a solidarity stand with Lebanon in facing the occupation aggression.

Al-Safadi expressed Jordan’s readiness to provide assistance to Lebanon in the aftermath of this brutal aggression, which is a clear violation of international law and of Lebanon’s sovereignty, stressing that they will continue their efforts and coordinate with the international community to do so as quickly and immediately as possible. He added that they support Lebanon’s efforts to activate its national institutions and decision, starting with the election of a President, as it is an important step in strengthening Lebanon’s position on an international level, noting the catastrophe and dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the entire region and international peace.

He stressed the need to stop this aggression immediately, the necessity of restraining occupation’s aggression and applying international law fully, pointing to the existing UN Security Council Resolution No 1701, which would achieve security and stability. In response to a question, Al-Safadi stated that Jordan will not be a battlefield for anyone, and will not allow anyone to penetrate the Kingdom’s airspace and sovereignty, threatening the security of its citizens.

Arab countries’ position was clear from the start in rejecting Zionist aggression against Gaza, explained Al-Safadi, adding that they warned of its consequences and that it would only lead to a dangerous regional escalation. The world has failed in protecting the region’s peace and security, limit the occupation’s crimes and apply international law and the UN Charter, remarked Al-Safadi, noting that Zionist occupation is responsible for the aggression and escalation in the region, and any new escalation will inevitably push the region towards a regional war. — KUNA

Al-Shammari explained that the students were selected according to the most need, as Yemen suffers from serious humanitarian crises, where the people are exposed to many challenges, including poverty and lack of education; therefore, sponsoring university students provides them with the opportunity to build a better future and achieve sustainable development in their homeland. The people of Gaza also live in different humanitarian conditions under the burden of war, which leads to difficult circumstances that hinder education, and by sponsoring students, we can support them in their academic career and enable them to participate in building their homeland.
